Where to eat at Walt Disney World Resort for a nice night out

Updated: May 21

Walt Disney World® Resort is a vacation destination full of options and opportunities. With so many offerings located on Disney's property, there are such plentiful choices that finding a nice night out to eat at a restaurant on the higher end becomes easy. We break down our favorites, but it is difficult to find a bad option when looking at Disney's finer options.

A recipient of MICHELIN Guide's Bib Gourmand distinction, this newly refreshed restaurant expresses the beauty of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort in both atmosphere and food. Disney does elevated dining an exceptional level, and Citricos shows off the company's ability to create a luxurious meal experience better than just about anywhere else we have tried. Elegance and a delicate touch make each hearty portion gentle and complex, and it all makes Citricos an easy Disney bucket list recommendation.

Another Bib Gourmand recipient, Toledo boasts one of the most beautiful atmospheres in all of Walt Disney World Resort. An enormous wine selection, must-eat appetizers that include a tapas selection and a decadent pan con tomate and perfectly constructed, protein-dense entrees drape this elegant restaurant with phenomenal dining.

California Grill

The crown jewel atop the iconic Disney's Contemporary Resort, this unbeatable rooftop view of Magic Kingdom Park® has been a Disney mainstay for decades, and for good reason. The quality here is almost unparalleled among theme park restaurants anywhere, with its price justified by the creativity shown on the plate. Featuring some of Disney's most seasoned bartenders, this luxurious affair is one of our favorite choices for an adult date night.

Yachtsman Steakhouse

A true meat-and-potatoes affair, Disney's best steakhouse brings perfectly prepared simplicity to a quieter setting that allows the meal to be the star. The aged cuts are supreme here, and the shareable appetizers make the perfect backing for one of Disney's best meals.

African-inspired dining made familiar, Jiko presents some of the best food in Central Florida, presented with a richness that will make for an unforgettable evening. The braised wild boar tenderloin is among the very best dishes in town, and something about the soft lighting and gentle decor makes it all the more enjoyable.
