You're all set: you've decided you're vacationing to the legendary and nostalgic Disneyland Resort®, one of Disney's most intimate parks where touches of Walt Disney are still abound, but where should you stay?
We recommend staying on-site, as at each of Disneyland Resort's three resort hotels provide a walkway leading directly to Disney Springs and both of Disneyland Resort's theme parks. This cuts down on travel time and costs, and allows you to immerse yourself in the destination's intricately designed atmosphere.
Pixar Place Hotel
Currently known as Paradise Pier Hotel, the thorough remodel is transitioning this hotel to a Pixar-themed getaway. New restaurants—including the Los Angeles staple Great Maple—a refurbished pool area, new-look rooms and more are set to transfer Disneyland Resort's most affordable hotel into something with a fresh coat of magic and wonder.
Disneyland Hotel
Elegantly themed around the resort of its namesake, the Disneyland Hotel brings classic iconography into its atmosphere. Including the home-like accommodations of its villas, this moderate-priced resort melds elegance and convenience to deliver the most "Disney" of the hotels. When you stay on-site at Disneyland Resort hotels, you can easily reach the offerings at each of the others, but this hotel brings the unforgettable Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar to its grounds. This resort also offers the fun and vibrant Goofy's Kitchen and the outdoor views of Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar and Grill.
Disney's Grand California Hotel and Spa
The deluxe equivalent at Disneyland Resort, this hotel rests in the heart of Disney Springs and gives doorway access to the Disneyland Resort's shopping and dining district. The craftsman-style decor will feel at home with those familiar with Disney's rustic-leaning design—though stylistically different—akin to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Robust on-site dining experiences bring guests the artful and elegant Napa Rose, the lodge-like Hearthstone, the hearty Storytellers Cafe, the GHC Craftsman Grill and the nearby GHC Craftsman Bar.
