Walt Disney World Resort construction update: What's opened?

In the nature of ever-changing and growing, Walt Disney World® Resort has continued to update its parks with new additions. And as the end of 2024 nears, we have a great picture of what is new and what is to change:

Epcot®

• The large-scale construction across Epcot® has wrapped with the opening of CommuniCore Hall

• Test Track Presented by Chevrolet is now under construction as it undergoes a reimagining. An opening timeline has yet to be announced

Magic Kingdom Park®

• The new Country Bear Musical Jamboree and Tiana's Bayou Adventure are now open

• Cinderella Castle Stage is under refurbishment until July 28, 2024

• Peter Pan's Flight is closed for refurbishment, though its ride operating calendar has it reopening Aug. 21, 2024

• Jungle Cruise is scheduled to close for refurbishment on Aug. 26

Disney's Hollywood Studios®

• Rockin' Roller Coaster has opened after refurbishment

• The single rider line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is now open

Disney's Animal Kingdom®

• Kali River Rapids is expected to undergo its annual refurbishment in January
