Disney announced its 2020 booking packages today, meaning guests who want to kick off the new decade with a vacation to Walt Disney World® Resort can now begin scheduling. So here’s what’s available, and here’s what to do when you’re ready:
What to Keep in Mind
The most important thing for many families is finding the right time to vacation. To have the smoothest vacation planning possible, be sure to have your dates ready to go before you check out packages or call an agent. Here’s some big events you’ll want to be aware of (note: most only include dates for this year, as those are what we currently have available, but should provide good guidelines as what to expect for 2020):

Annual Passes Increased Prices
Annual pass prices increased last night . While our original calculations estimated that the average guest could break even, or even save money, after going twice on an annual pass, that may no longer be the case. If you’re looking to take multiple trips in 2020, here’s how much it’ll cost to buy or renew your annual passes:

What to Know About Packages
All new packages begin Jan. 1, 2020. The biggest significance is that those who had a room-only reservation can now begin packages that include their tickets, and guests who have been looking forward to a 2020 Disney vacation can now begin to book their entire trip. Packages typically include your room and ticket, along with options for dining plans and special discounts, called magical extras.

2020 Dining Plans
With new packages comes new dining plans. The plans have added new details and options in the past, but aside from some price alterations, they have stayed the same this year. Since guests under three eat for free, dining plans are not applicable to them. Dining plans are an optional part of the Walt Disney World® Resort experience, and next year’s options come as follows:
Quick Service Dining Plan
Two quick service meals per day. Includes either entrée OR combo meal
Guests under 21 can order one non-alcoholic beverage with their meal per day. These include:
