Now that Disney announced the extended closure of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort through next summer due to refurbishments, the timeline for when Disney’s resort hotels will all be reopen looks a little different. Though many resort hotels across property have already opened, below are the ones that guests have yet to stay in since their coronavirus-caused closures.
September 21, 2020 Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
October 14, 2020 Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
November 1, 2020 Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Summer 2021 Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Changed to Closed Until Further Notice The below resorts join a selection of resort hotels that have not had reopening dates announced yet, although these have had reopening dates previously announced. Since Disney Vacation Club properties are still operating at yet-to-reopen resorts, amenities at those resorts—restaurants included—are available.
