Top 5 burger spots in Walt Disney World

It’s the debate that has rocked the food world. Fast food burger joints have been in competition across social media in heated discussions at to which one reigns supreme, as its one of the hottest food items in the dining scene currently. Disney isn’t immune to the debate either, and so we’re here to give you our five favorite places to get a hamburger on Walt Disney World® Resort property:

  1. Kona Café

Set in the calming atmosphere of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Kona Café is one of my favorite hidden gems. The menu is loaded with variety, and it’s all high quality. Among those items are several Hawaiian-style burgers, with more unique flavor profiles than what is typically offered at standard burger chains.

  1. Yak and Yeti

This restaurant is famous for a lot of its other dishes, but it’s the Kobe beef burger, with sesame-soy mayonnaise, crispy onion strings and shiitake mushrooms that deserves a lot of the credit. The fries here are phenomenal too, and make the burger meal that much better.

  1. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

The restaurant itself is widely considered a classic, with tables transformed into cars, and a screen playing clips from old-school films. It’s the sort of design that even if you didn’t live in the restaurant’s period, it is impossible not to feel some sense of nostalgia.

The burgers are outstanding on top of that, and are the highlight of a robust menu. There are the typical hamburgers, but what makes the menu special is its seasonal, rotating burger and its vegetarian falafel burger.

  1. D-Luxe Burger

This Disney Springs restaurant serves primarily burgers, and they’re great at it, too. It beats every typical fast food burger by a mile, and goes toe-to-toe with the best at gourmet burger joints, like BurgerFi, In-N-Out Burger and Five Guys.

There’s a rotating menu here too, but all the staples are just as good. Each of D-Luxe’s creations are as elegant and delicious as the last, and there is not a weak item on the menu. It has become a cannot-miss on most of my vacations, and is often my first stop when I get into Disney Springs.

  1. Geyser Point Bar & Grill

It’s not just the best quick service in all of Walt Disney World® Resort, but it’s the best place to get a burger, too. This is a menu loaded with some of the highest quality quick service food on all of property, but the best of it is the bison cheeseburger. It’s the perfect patty, juicy and flawlessly cooked. It only gets better when you add the onion straws, garlic aioli and marionberry barbeque sauce.
