The timeline of what is opening at Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World® Resort is has begun to reopen, though it is doing so in phases. While some nighttime spectaculars, attractions and dining locations will remain closed for the immediate future, much of Walt Disney World Resort will be made available for guests in the coming weeks.

The areas made visible online prior to the opening date of locations has been due to cast member and annual passholder previews, though some resorts (namely, those designated for Disney Vacation Club have opened, though the non-DVC portion of many of those resorts have remained closed) have been made available to all guests already. As a reminder, after booking a stay and acquiring park tickets, guests must link their reservation to the My Disney Experience app in order to be able to book reservations to a theme park. The following dates are when the parks and resorts are currently scheduled to open:

June 22: Disney Vacation Club Resorts and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground opened

July 11: Magic Kingdom® Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom® 

July 15: Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

July 29: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Aug. 12: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Aug. 24: Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Sept. 21: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Oct. 1: Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Oct. 14: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
