Our spoiler-free review of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

Updated: May 20

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot® is the newest Walt Disney World® Resort attraction since Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway debuted in early 2020, and in many ways, it serves as a similar experience.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure takes inspiration from Disney's trackless ride technology and another, certain local theme park's hybridization of live sets and simulator-style screens. Only the live sets on this attraction are so grand and detailed that they completely transform the ride experience unlike any of its kind, transporting guests into the cartoon in a way that most technology hasn't quite mastered yet. A few of the attraction's sets and rooms are breathtaking in those regards, and are still some of the most memorable moments of my time during the 50th anniversary celebration.

Though not the ground-breaking, thrilling e-ticket attraction that draws countless guests, those attractions are coming. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure instead brings the magic back of the dark rides of old in a way that is new and modern. Consider it a must-ride for guests of all ages, making it absolutely worth your time to get a virtual pass in the morning.
