Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is back—Here's what we know

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is returning in 2022, its first since 2019. The party was canceled in 2020 due to the onset of COVID-19 and was replaced with Disney After Hours Boo Bash for similar reasons. The Halloween party is filled to the brim with special dining, activities, shows, merchandise and limited capacity (meaning shorter wait times).

When is it?

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights from August-October, including:

  • August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30

  • September: 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 30

The party takes place in Magic Kingdom® Park from 7 p.m.-12 a.m., though guests often get earlier admission than the 7 p.m. start time.

How much does it cost?

Like Disney theme park tickets, prices vary depending on the day, and range from $109-$199 per person. The earlier dates are typically the cheapest. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members may purchase tickets for a discount on select dates.

When can you buy tickets?

Tickets go on sale online on May 18. Select Disney resort guests can get ticket access on May 12.

Park admission is not needed for the party, but is needed if you want to access the park prior to the allotted party entry time.

  • The Headless Horseman, riding his horse down the Main Street, U.S.A. Area
