Disney recently introduced a special offer for guests traveling to Walt Disney World® for most nights from Sept. 4 to Dec. 25, 2020 as long as those guests are residents of select states.
Those living in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia or West Virginia can book at a number of resorts and get discounts on rooms to varying degrees.
Guests can view individual discounts per hotel here, but the general idea is that guests staying at campgrounds can get up to 15 percent off, select value resort hotels can get up to 20 percent off, select moderate resorts up to 25 percent off and select deluxe resorts up to 30 percent off.
The exact percentage discount varies based on dates and availability, as the savings are based on the non-discounted price of the room being booked. There are a set number of discounted rooms with predetermined availability, so those who book earlier in the discount window have a greater set of choices.
