REVIEW: EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2023

Updated: May 21

One of our favorite festivals, the EPCOT® International Food & Wine Festival is back from July 27 through Nov. 17, 2023. Through our early experiences, this year's festival holds to the high standards we hold it to.

Some of our festival favorite items from last year have made a return, like India's potato and pea samosa, Canada's cheddar-bacon soup, Flavors from Fire's smoked corned beef with house-made potato chips, Greece's griddled cheese and the often-discussed fry flight.

New items join the fray too, with new options at Brew-wing (including the pickle milkshake, an all-new menu in Italy, an all-new menu in America, pickle fries from Fry Basket and more we're already itching to try. There's a good balance between returning dishes and must-try new additions. It is important to know that a handful of dining kiosks do not open until August and September. While there is more to try in a day than is possible, it is worth reviewing the menu before planning your trip to know if you'll have to wait a bit longer for your favorites.

This festival differs from the others in that it is lower on activities outside of dining. Though dining is the primary activity and draw of the event, though concerts with tons of recognizable acts help round out the experience to make it feel something more significant.

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival has long been one of our favorite theme park events anywhere, and this year's significant addition of new offerings may just help it continue its standing.
