Universal Orlando Resort's Mardi Gras is one of the most featured and vibrant festivals of any theme park, bringing a mountain of live entertainment and food that transforms its parks for months. Running from Feb. 5.-April 24, 2022, this celebration is one of the best representations of the holiday outside of Louisiana. From live music, to parades, to food, there is no shortage of events and offers to keep track of, so below you'll find the breakdown of what to expect from the event all spring.
Spectacular Parade
This Mardi Gras parade takes inspiration from the holiday's classic tradition of floats and bead-throwing, letting guests interact directly with the parade instead of only watching it. Additional opportunities let guests ride the floats and toss beads to the crowd, involving Universal fanatics in the heart of the action. The parade is scheduled to run every day of the event except for April 1, 2 and 8.
Concerts
Universal's concert series sees renowned bands and artists take over Universal Studios Florida's Music Plaza Stage for dynamic, electric concerts, where the only price of admission is a theme park ticket. The currently announced lineup consists of:
