Disney Springs is open, so what is it like?

Disney Springs closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic on March 17, 2020, and has now reopened nearly two months later. Some of the area looks different, as do protocols for guests and cast members.

As of its reopening, Disney Springs uses four entrances, with a tech-free temperature screening at each. In order to enter Disney Springs, a guest’s temperature must be below 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. It will also be verified that all guests are wearing face masks before entering.

Hand washing stations have been made available across Disney Springs, and standing spots have been marked off in front of retail stores and restaurants to ensure social distancing between guests.

It has yet to be announced when Disney-owned businesses will reopen in Disney Springs, but many third party businesses are now in operation. Though full measures for the theme parks’ reopening has yet to be announced, these new Disney Springs guidelines are a good indicator on what things might look like when they are.
