As theme parks continue to develop, construction walls go up and the landscapes change, and that's no different at Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal Epic Universe
Construction projects are cropping up across the construction site designated for Universal's upcoming fourth Orlando park, which is scheduled to open by summer 2025. Though not much has yet to be officially released about the new park, Universal has announced it will include new hotels, restaurants and an entertainment center along with its new theme park.
Revenge of the Mummy
Revenge of the Mummy—one of our favorite Universal rides—is currently undergoing refurbishment. It is unknown if any of the ride's elements will be updated beyond that, but fortunately, Universal's announcements indicate there won't be long until guests find out. Though no exact opening date has been announced, it is scheduled to open sometime this summer.
Toon Lagoon
Construction walls are up around portions of the Toon Lagoon area of Universal's Islands of Adventure, including the Toon Extra merchandise store. It is unknown to what extent any refurbishments or additions the land will be seeing as a result, but much of it is still accessible.
