This has been a momentous week for Walt Disney World® Resort, with highly anticipated released dates and new offerings revealed.

Annual Passholder Perks

Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders will no longer need park reservations when visiting the theme parks after 2 p.m. This excludes Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays, which will still require park reservations. This perk is set to start in the coming months.

Passholders will also gain access to Disney PhotoPass lenses and one complimentary Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories experience.

Genie+ Update

Walt Disney World Resort guests who purchase Genie+ will receive on-ride attraction photo digital downloads for now extra charge. This perk is set to start in the coming months.

Resort Parking

Guests with valid Walt Disney World Resort reservations no longer have to pay for overnight self-parking. Disney cited this as being a result of guest feedback, as Disney Parks Chairman Josh D'Amaro has said was the motivation behind many of the recent changes.
