Walt Disney® World Resort has been utilizing after hours events for years, giving guests paid access to lighter park crowds, shorter lines and exclusive experiences.
Starting Memorial Day weekend and continuing every Saturday through Aug. 2, 2022, Disney will host its H20 Glow After Hours event at Typhoon Lagoon water park from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. Tickets grant entry beginning at 6 p.m. A standard park ticket for the rest of the day is not required to enter the event.
One of the biggest draw to after hours events comes in the form of attractions with shorter wait times, and this year, H20 Glow will feature the wave pool, Miss Adventure Falls, Crush n' Gusher and Humunga Cowabunga. The event will also include new glow lighting effects and décor, DJ dance parties, an adult-only area, glow wristbands, purchasable glow-themed dining options and complimentary ice cream treats, popcorn and select beverages.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale March 29 for guests of Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort, and are scheduled to go on sale April 1 for the general public.
Adult tickets are set to cost $75 each, with child tickets set at $70. Guests with annual passes or Disney Vacation Club memberships can purchase discounted tickets at $59 for adults and $54 for children.
