As resorts continue to open again, so do additional amenities

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Now that the National Basketball Association has wrapped its 2019-2020 season in its bubble at Walt Disney World® Resort, the resort hotels where athletes stayed are scheduled to reopen. That means Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is set to open on Oct. 14, 2020, which is the first time guests can stay there since it initially closed to the public in March. Guests will also be able to stay at the gorgeous Gran Destino Tower, as it is set to open alongside the resort.

With the reopening of the resort comes the return of its offerings for guests who both are and are not staying at the hotel as well. The Three Bridges Bar & Grill, Rix Sports Bar & Grill and Siestas Cantina will be open at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Barcelona Lounge and Dahlia Lounge will be open at Gran Destino Tower.

The El Mercado de Coronado food court and Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood will remain closed for the immediate future.

All other non-dining locations at the resort will be reopening, such as the swimming pools and the fitness center.
