Top 5 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party must-do’s

Walt Disney World® Resort’s famous Halloween party is seeing some big changes and some returning favorites this year. There is so much to do at the party, that it might be tough to accomplish it all. And thus we’re presenting our top five must-do’s this year:

5.Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade

The parade won’t be seeing any changes this year, and for good reason, as it is one of Disney’s best ever. The ride of the headless horseman already makes it worth your time, and then there’s still an entire parade afterward.

Some of Disney’s rarest characters make an appearance, including the Cadaver Dans, the special Halloween versions of the world-renown Dapper Dans.

  1. Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular

Hocus Pocusis the best Halloween movie of all time, so it’s a pretty big deal that it makes a presence in the theme parks. The stage show is also Disney’s best use of the Cinderella Castle stage, and its multiple showings make it easy to catch.

  1. Pirates of the Caribbean® Attraction

One of the park’s older attractions is bringing back a fan-favorite: live pirates intermingled with the ride’s animatronics. It has become a popular feature at Disney’s various parties, and it looks to be a staple moving forward, with this year’s party bringing an all-new storyline to the attraction.

  1. Space Mountain® Attraction

One of Disney’s greatest coasters is at its best when it’s scariest, and the thrill is turned all the way up during the party with all the slights shut off. Disney’s adding a new, rocking soundtrack to boost the excitement, making this all-dark, speeding coaster a cannot-miss.

  1. Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

The highlight of this year’s party is certain to be the new fireworks show, featuring the same technology that makes the lasers effects, projections, lighting and fireworks during Happily Ever After. Hosted by Jack Skellington, guests will follow Zero, his dog, on a trick-or-treating adventure where Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy end up in a haunted house. Plenty of Disney villains will make appearances, too.

Those who are fans of strong storylines are in for a treat, as this all-new fireworks spectacular looks to have one of the most predominant stories of any nighttime show on property. Though everyone has different preferences for their must-do’s, this should be at the top of any list.
