Disney+ is officially out in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands. Now that it is available, here’s what you need to know to get started:

Available Platforms

Disney+ will be available on a number of platforms today, but will be coming to additional locations later at a currently undisclosed time. The following places can either access Disney+ through an app or browser today:

  1. All desktop web browsers. You can head to Disney+’s website to stream now.

  2. Android and Apple mobile devices

  3. iPads and Fire Tablets

  4. Apple TV, Android TV, Roku TV, Fire TV, LG TVs, Samsung TVs and Sony Smart TVs. If you have any of these devices or smart televisions, you can download the Disney+ app directly to the hardware and begin watching immediately after signing in.

  5. Chromecast. All devices enabled with Chromecast are able to stream Disney+ from the app or website.

  6. Chromebooks

  7. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Disney has previously shown Disney+ running on the Nintendo Switch, but it is scheduled be available at a later date.

Original Shows

Disney has already announced a slew of original content to be ready on day one. Original programming will air more like traditional television than binge–heavy streaming content in that an episode will be released each week. Original content available at launch includes:

  1. Lady and the Tramp (live action film)

  2. Noelle (Christmas film)

  3. Dolphin Reef (documentary)

  4. Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe

  5. The Mandalorian

  6. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series

  7. Legend of the Three Caballeros

  8. The Imagineering Story

  9. Pixar in Real Life

  10. Marvel Hero Project

  11. Encore!

  12. The World According to Jeff Goldblum

  13. Forky Asks a Question

  14. SparkShorts

Don’t have Disney+ yet? You can subscribe at $6.99 a month, or $69.99 a year if you are ready to commit for longer and want to save money. Users can make up to seven separate profiles and can have four streams active at one time, though Disney+ can be signed in on unlimited devices. With a ton of content available on day one and a service that has worked smoothly from the instant it went live, Disney+ is shaping to be a juggernaut for the streaming wars, and is an easy recommendation for Disney fans.
