Hiya Pals~!
My name is Abbie and I’m from La Porte, Texas! My passions growing up were sports, animals, and Disney! I played volleyball all through college at Southwestern University, where I earned my business degree. I married my high school sweetheart in 2019. He actually proposed in front of the Walt Disney World Resort Cinderella Castle! We share our home with our 2 crazy dogs (Fendi & Tater) and our Sphynx cat, Mulan. We also have a pet goat in our backyard named Blaze!
My obsession with Disney began as a child. When I was a baby I had a Minnie Mouse room. My parents took me to Disney World for the first time when I was 3 and we camped at Fort Wilderness. When we got back home they asked what my favorite part of the trip was… my reply was “the bus”!!! I still love a bus ride to the Magic Kingdom, but I have to say the food and resorts have become my favorite part of the Disney experience! Since that first trip I have been on 30+ Disney vacations and it NEVER gets old.
I have experienced many wonderful memories I will forever cherish on Disney property. Having a character breakfast for my 18th birthday in Disneyland. Walking around Animal Kingdom with my grandparents (Grandpa in a big straw hat and Grandma with her red polka dot glasses!). Ugly crying in front of the castle looking down at my now husband, down on one knee. Taking my Mawmaw at 78 to Disney World for her first trip and watching her interact with her favorite, Goofy. My first RunDisney race with my mom through Epcot (it rained the entire time but we didn’t care!). Watching my dad go down Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach. SPLASH!!! Taking my niece for her first trip and watching her eat a caramel apple the size of her head on Main Street with the castle behind her. Drinking a mimosa with 24k gold flakes in the Cinerella castle with my best friend. The memories are endless!! Because of all these memories, laughs and adventures, I decided I wanted to help other families create their own magical moments. That's why I joined Say Magical Vacations!
