FastPass+ Guide

Walt Disney World® Resort

Fast Pass

Fastpass+

Your 3 advanced Fastpass+ selections have been made prior to your arrival. Please check your My Disney Experience app or the itinerary provided to you by your agent. It is important that you arrive at the ride or attraction during your Fastpass+ hour window. Your Fastpass+ will expire at the expiration time and you will not be able to enter the ride or attraction using the Fastpass+ line. If you are running late, it is best to try to change your Fastpass+ time using the app or at a Fastpass+ kiosk located in the park.

Once you have used all 3 of your advanced Fastpass+ selections (or if they have expired), you may choose a 4th Fastpass+ using the app or at a kiosk. This step may be repeated until the day is over.

Tip:

Often times the Disney server is overloaded with the amount of traffic using the app. If your app is not showing your Fastpass+ selections, do not panic. Visit a kiosk in the park, or try logging in to your My Disney Experience account through the browser on your smartphone. (Ex. Safari on an iPhone)

Important:

You were provided with Park Maps for each of the 4 Theme Parks. In the event you forget to bring them, you can always pick up one at the entrance of every park. *Please note: Be sure to grab a Times Guide in each park to view the Show times, Parade times, etc…

Rider Switch & Disability Access

If Guests in your party can’t or don’t want to board an attraction, you don’t have to miss out!

If a child does not meet the height requirement or a Guest does not wish to board a particular attraction, no problem! With Rider Switch, one adult can wait with the non-rider (or riders) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the other adult returns, they can supervise the non-riding Guests, and the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again!

Rider Switch is available at select attractions at all 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

To use Rider Switch:

  1. First check with a Cast member to see if Rider Switch is offered at the attraction in question.

  2. Once at the attraction, approach the greeting Cast Member with your entire party. At least one adult member of your party and the Guests who are not riding will be given a Ride Switch pass and asked to wait in a designated area (usually outside of the attraction). This group is “Party 2.”

  3. The other party members (“Party 1”) ride the attraction.

  4. After riding the attraction, Party 1 locates Party 2 and gives the Rider Switch pass to the adult member who will be riding. Party 1 takes over supervision of the non-riding children or Guests.

  5. Party 2 enters and boards the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue a second time. The Rider Switch Pass must be presented to a Cast Member at this time.

If the person in Party 2 waited alone with the child, he or she may bring one other Guest back to the ride the attraction with him or her. Please note that up to 3 Guests are allowed per rider Switch Pass.

Guest Needing Special Assistance

The Disability Access Service (DAS) allows Guests with disabilities—as well as an allotted number of people from his or her party—to schedule a return time at a specific attraction that is comparable to the wait time when they first arrive at that attraction.

DAS is intended for Guests whose disability prevents them from waiting in a conventional queue environment. This service allows Guests to schedule a return time that is comparable to the current queue wait for the given attraction. Once a return time is issued, Guests are free to enjoy other theme park offerings such as meeting a Character, grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying entertainment or even visiting another attraction until their listed return time. Return times are valid until redeemed prior to park closing.

Guests can only have one active return time at a time. As soon as an outstanding attraction return time is redeemed, Guests can receive a return time for the same or a different attraction.

This service can be used in addition to Disney FastPass+ Service.

Please see the Disability Access Service Guidelines link for complete details.
